Gap

Have you ever heard the expression “you can make a mountain out of a molehill”.  For some of us this is a true statement.  Sometimes we turn our gaps into divides, canyons or chasms that instead of just being easy to step over we decide they can never be crossed.  We can turn a simple creek that we can jump over into the Grand Canyon where we can’t see the other side.  Even the children of Israel made the possible impossible merely by their perspective.

When we take this approach or outlook we have a higher tendency to stop or even worse we don’t even try because of fear. But Jesus’ perspective was different… He said if we have the faith of a mustard seed we could say to the mountain be moved and it would be.  (luke…)  In most cases its a matter of perspective, we are unwilling to try something new or to start something because it takes too many steps, or it would be too hard.  But once we start we find it wasn’t as difficult as we first thought.  Or we it took a lot of hard work and encouragement but it was worth the effort.

Whether it be small or grand we all have goals and dreams that are just sitting on the table unfinished or not started because of our perspective.  Those goals and dreams are waiting for us to give them a try.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line.

One of my goals is to get you from point A (where you are) to point B (where you want to go) in the simplest way possible.  Thus a straight line.  I serve people by helping them see the next step and motivating them to take it.  Sometimes that first step is the hardest but it can also be the most exciting.

Sometimes we see the goal line (what we want) but we immobilize ourselves by but we don’t know where to start,  so we never get even start moving, just for the sheer size of the task.  If you were to break that “project” down into bite size or easy to manage steps then would you be more apt to start?  If you did do you think you would gain confidence along the way? And once you had one success wouldn’t you be more likely to continue on towards greater success?

I think so that why I developed my coaching packages to you move from point A to point B, acknowledging small successes along the way so that you can move on to greater success.  So are you ready want to start a new adventure, redirect your path, learn a new skill, accomplish something for you or your family?  Then I can help, but you have to be willing to change your perspective.
